The WH-2 Seasprite has earned the reputation of
"Angel of Mercy" because of its record of rescuing
downed pilots; during carrier operations at sea, at
advance bases, behind enemy lines and wherever
their services are required by the armed forces all
over the world. This includes both the North and
South Poles where they serve with the Coast Guard
Ice Breakers. In between times they do mundane
jobs such as aerial taxis and mail carriers for the
U.S. Navy at sea.
