AMERICAN RED CROSS IN GREAT BRITAIN
St. Mark's Church, one of the first London churches
to be hit by German bombs, was left a roofless ruin on
the night of September 21, 1940. But the Church
carries on under the Rev. H. A. Stuckey. It is one of
the many points of interest visited by U.S. soldiers in
tours arranged by the Amerian Red Cross. Shown
singing for a group of U.S. soldiers is the famous
London Choir School, whose boys have sung in
American churches. (Photo by Tozi Frissell)
