THE AMERICAN BISON
The bison is the largest native ani-
mal of North America. In 1889 only
85 of the animals were left. Ted and
Ned, shown herewith, were captured
when 8 months old by Captain Water-
man. They are outstanding specimens,
and are the only bison to be tamed
and handled as these are by their
owner, Capt. J. H. Waterman, Deans-
boro, N. Y
