No State in the Union surpasses Arkansas in
natural resources. In this great State, the Mis-
souri Pacific has a total mileage of almost 2,400
miles, or almost ten times the extreme length of
i the State. Its lines reach out in all directions from
Little Rock as the center and extend into practi-
cally every section.

line of the Missouri Pacific—the shortest route
between St. Louis, Texas and Mexico.
