Erected in 1785, owned and occupied by
Richmond Randolph Lodge No. 19, A. F. &
A. M., is the first edifice ever built in the
United States exclusively for Masonic pur-
poses. The records of this lodge show that
John Marshall, Gen'l Lafayette, together with
many other statesmen, soldiers, and citizens
of International renown have
have attended its
stated communications.
