A GLIMPSE OF THE WATER FRONT,
PANAMA CITY.
Quaint and picturesque is the old Spanish built sea
wall and old buildings that overlook Panama Bay. The
City is laid out on a rocky point, the houses being mainly
of stone and cement. The sea wall is from 30 to 60 feet
high, in some places the wall is double with a moat
between, and is part of the old Spanish fortification.
