Empie Kartoon Kards were one of the earliest western cartoon cards published. Hal
Empie originated these cards in the early 1930's. Originals are preserved at the
Carnegie Library, Syracuse University, New York. Hal Empie is now a well known
western artist and the owner of Empie Studio, Inc. in Duncan, Arizona, Copyright
circa 1955 Hal Empie.
