Named for the late Thomas Autzen, the stadium seats
42,000 persons and was built at a cost of $2,300,000
in 1967. Immediately adjacent to the stadium is Alton
Baker Memorial Park; and there is parking for 8,400
vehicles for sports enthusiasts. This facility is built on a
land-excavation and contains 13,000 cubic yards of
cement and 130,000 board feet of Port Orford Cedar.
