$390,000 and serves the county of which Alamo-
gordo is the county seat. This modern city of
25,000 friendly people lies in the Tularosa Basin
under the towering Sacramento Mountains. This
is the home of "Pioneer Spaceport-U.S.A.“, from
the rocket research being conducted nearby.
