The Louisiana State Exhibit Building, completed in 1939,
was built on the State Fair Grounds, in a circular design,
with a circular courtyard in the center and rectangular
wings extending from each side. The murals in the
front entrance symbolize the historical, industrial, and
cultural aspects of Louisiana, and the nature of the
exhibits housed within.
