The child size U.S. Post Office with Post-
mistress on duty, is just one of the many
attractions which are featured in the
world famed Children's Fairyland, on the
shores of Lake Merritt in Oakland, Cal-
ifornia. Adults and children alike find
delight in the more than 60 features from
nursery rhymes and fairy tales in this
miniature land of enchantment – one of
the facilities of the Oakland Office of
Parks and Recreation.
