Béguinage de Mont St. Amand. Ghent, like many
other Flemish towns, has seen numerous changes, and is
replete with sights that carry us back to the distant past.
It contains some nne old buildings, but the town generally
is very modern, though full of interest. The chief trades
are flax, linen, leather goods, and lace-making.
