Over 300 feet long and 64 feet broad,
and displaces upward of 7,000 tons of water. Speed, 18 knots
per hour. Horse-power, 8,610. Cost, about $2,500,000.
Armed with two 12-inch guns and six 6-inch weapons, as well
as various rapid-firers. Complement, 30 officers and about
400 men.
