A COMPANY STREET. During the summer, the
entire battalion of cadets at the West Point Military Academy
go into camp in tents some distance from the Academy buildings.
The camp is regularly laid out in streets (by companies), and
one of these thoroughfares with a sentry on guard is shown in
this illustration.
