THE SCHOOL OF SCIENCE BUILDING was
erected in 1873 through the generosity of John C. Green, who
also built Dickinson Hall and Chancellor Green Library. In
it are given courses in general sciences as well as civil and
electrical engineering. The building is of stone with a picturesque
tower rising from one end and is unusually handsome.
