Although records prove Vincennes was founded
in 1702, many historians contend this now
beautiful and romantic city was settled as
early as 1609.
Vincennes has lived under six flags, namely:
Indian flag (Red), Spanish, French, British,
Clark or Vincennes flag, and the American
flag.
