This is one of the most scenic states in the
Southwest. It became a state in 1912, and has
a wonderful year 'round climate. There are
mountains, valleys, plains and desert country.
It has great tourist attractions, including
Indian Ruins, Indian Reservations, Carlsbad
Caverns National Park, White Sands National
Monument and several other National Monu-
ments. There is good fishing and hunting and
the scenic beauty affords a wonderful oppor-
tunity for Camera fans.
