POST OFFICE, Fitchburg, Mass. This
fine government building is situated on
Wallace Avenue, at its junction with
Elm Street, and is one of a group of the
finest public buildings in Fitchburg. The
State Armory and the Worcester County
Court House are across the street, while
the Wallace Library and Art Building is
within a short distance. The cost of land
and building was about $125,000. It was
opened for business on December 1, 1903.
