Milwaukee Hospital, "The Passavant," found-
ed 1863, situated on the highest elevation of
the west side, in a park of two squares, ex-
tending from 21st to 23rd Streets, between
Cedar and State Streets. About 3,200 patients
are annually cared for. The Layton Home, an
annex for invalids, is part of this Hospital.
