Jefferson Davis Parish Court House

| Contract for erection of this courthouse was let on Feb. 4, 1916, and the building erected during the year. Cost of building complete was approximately $90,000.00. During 1937-38 the building was completely remodeled, and a new jail was built and added to the courthouse. The name of the Parish was adopted at the request of the daughters of the Confederacy. |
