ing in Punta Gorda, Fla.
Vote for ALBERT W.GILCHRIST. He feels sure he will be elected Governor
of Florida, if he gets enough votes. He will be opposed by a "Band of
Patriots", who have monopolized all the political virtues. They organize
the Ward, City, County and State politics, always with an eye for the main
chance and for the p-e-a-p-u-1-1. They would not draw their salaries except
for the benefit of the p-e-a-p-u-1-1. They are the p-e-a-p-u-1-1, pulling the last
p-e-a out of the pot for themselves. He is not on the band wagon.
