Ohio's first town. The cabin in which John Schebosch lived was the first structure in the village to be reconstructed. It was completed in June-July 1927. Schebosch, whose real name was John Bull, joined the Moravian Church in 1742, and devoted his life to service in the Indian Mission. The Village was reconstructed under the supervision of The Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society, and is administered as a State Memorial
