Texas Canyon is only a jumble of rocks as
seen by the speeding motorist on Highway
86 between Benson and Willcox. But if you
slow down and look carefully you can see
Big Rock Bridge from the highway; and a
short half-mile detour off the pavement leads
to a picnic spot from which Alley Oop, the
Eagle, Reptile Mountain, Cochise's Throne,
the Face in the Mountain, the Whale and
many other spectacular formations may be
reached.
