Front:
Cat
The liquid pools within her eyes
Mankind has ever known3;
He's tried to conquer everything,
And make proud puss his own.
A cat reigns over all supreme,
Her realm is without bound;
But her purring by the fireside
Is a welcome, homey sound.
Every cat's an aristocrat
From long, ancestral line3;
The pussy cats the Pharoahs had
Were very much like mine!
