COLONIAL WATCHMAN GIFT SHOP AT PUB-
LICK HOUSE, a Treadway Inn, founded in 1771 as
a coaching tavern by Colonel Ebenezer Crafts.
This inn forms an integral part of the Sturbridge
common which was used
used as a training ground
for militia in the Revolutionary War and the war
of 1812.
