One of our most loved songsters, it is brown
with a crimson forehead and breast, and can
be seen chiefly on hills and gorsy heaths.
The nest is of grass, hair, wool and down,
usually found in gorse bush and has 4 to 6
eggs-pale blue-white with dark specks. Lives
on weed-seeds and insects. Length 51″.
