MCALISTER INFIRMARY, named for the father
of Mrs. Amelie McAlister Upshur, was dedicated
in June, 1960. The 22-bed facility designed by
Northampton architect Robert W. Remy was
made possible by a grant from the McAlister
estate. 14 of the rooms have been subscribed
to as permanent memorials honoring the name
of individuals or organizations.
