Additional Details:

The mill was built sometime before 1790 at Plymouth. The old mill was duplicated and shipped across the bay probably in 1988 and reassembled near the end of the Cape to grind corn meal. In 1793 the mill was taken apart and hauled by ox to its present location. Here it was used to grind meal for fisherman and farmers. Now fully restored in Eastham Windmill Park, it is the oldest workable grist mill on Cape Cod
