  The town of Pawling in connection with what was then part of the YMCA, Holiday Hills ran one of the best and most innovative summer program for the school children in the town. Everyday they bussed the children to the facility where they spent the day running, swimming, boating, hiking. They also employed the teenagers to be counselors. I remember those days fondly. What a difference it made in the lives of many children. Nowadays, our youths spend the summer playing video games.
