MOUNT WASHINGTON HOTEL FROM LAKE CAROLINE.
This famous hostelry is the largest and most elaborate in the
White Mountains. It is four stories high, exclusive of the
foundation and towers, and its frontage is 627 feet, without
the two wings, each 460 leet. The hotel affords a roof garden,
fern garden, squash court, swimming pool, golf links, tennis
courts, bowling green and saddle horses.
