STONEWALL GAP lies about 32 miles west of Trinidad at the foot of the Sangre De Cristo Range. This wall formation extends nearly all the way from Canada to Mexico, outcropping along the front of the mountain range. Here the wall is about 200 feet high and 25 feet wide.
