Hudson Memorial Bridge. To be erected over the Harlem at Spuyten Duyvil (upper New York) as a permanent memorial to Henry Hudson. Planned by Professor William H. Burr, it will be double decked for foot and railway traffic. The centre span, 725 feet, will be the longest masonry arch in the world. Hudson Memorial Monument. Designed by Karl Bitter. Cost about $100,000, raised by popular subscription. Dedicated during the Hudson-Fulton Celebration, September 25th to October 9th, 1909
