Approaching the toll gate on the American side of the
Thousand Islands International Bridge. The span which
bridges the American Channel rises 135 ft. above the
water and connects the mainland with Wellesley Island.
A series of other bridges completes the international
crossing into Canada. The new Billion Dollar St. Law-
rence Seaway will pass under this bridge. Thousand Is-
lands, New York.
