A most unusual feature of a completely unusual
place, SCOTTY'S CASTLE, is its location. This
multi-million dollar castle with its European
architecture and imported furnishings was built
in an otherwise completely desolate desert area,
aptly named Desolation Canyon. The Castle, located
in the northern portion of Death Valley National
Monument, is open year around.
