The Main Building of the Stark County District Library is
one of the largest public buildings in the United States
that is solar heated and cooled. Many live tropical plant-
ings are to be found in the sky-lighted solarium area. The
6 million dollar building covers an area larger than
118,000 sq. ft., houses 500,000 volumes, and circulates
over 1,000,000 pieces of material annually.
