THE WINDMILL
Jamestown, Rhode Island
Built in 1787 and in active service for more than 100 years.
It is believed to be the only remaining windmill in the
United States that is still operable. Once each year, meal
for RHODE ISLAND JOHNNY CAKES is actually ground as it
was many years ago. Open to visitors.
