Giraffes attain a height of 18 feet, and when their
drinking or grazing they spread their forelegs
widely to reach the ground. They have small
mouths, large upper lips and tongues, nearly
two feet long to help them gather food. In
the background is the Antelope House, en-
crusted with artificial red granite boulders, which
were modeled from actual formations at Granite.
