Down in the valley is an old American Home-
stead of about 100 years ago, which illustrates the
fact that in those days people built for use and not
for beauty, also if you will note the Hexafoos on
the face of the barn which in those days were
spiritual protectors to the farmer, his family, his
crops, and his cattle, and a curse for three gen-
erations to those who are responsible for damage
done in revenge. The Hexatoos is also to protect
the farm from lightning, storms, floods, etc. There
are many designs and quite a story on same. The
designs on this barn carry the most protection.
Historians state that this is German Folk Art
originated from the early original scriptures and
has no bearing whatsoever on witchcraft
