University of Miami's Otto G. Richter Library was
completed in 1962. Air conditioned throughout, its
9-story wing houses rare book and other collections,
has stack areas for 1,000,000 volumes, a lecture hall
and exhibit area on ground floor. Three-story wing
at right contains undergraduate reading room, ad-
ministrative and processing departments, periodicals
and government publications.
