on the campus of St. Louis University, cost 412
million dollars to build. It was dedicated May,
1959 and has approximately 1,000,000 volumes
of text within its walls. Micro-film copies of
sacred Vatican library manuscripts and other rare
books, copies of St. Louis Archdiocese records
can also be found there.
