EX-GOVERNOR OF ISLETA PUEBLO,
NEW MEXICO
The Indian village of Isleta is located 13
miles south of Albuquerque, N. M. This scene
shows the former governor admonishing the
youths of the Pueblo to follow the old tradi-
tions and the Arts and Crafts of their fore-
fathers. The boys are fine silversmiths, while
the girls are taught to weave very fine belts.
