stone and read their epitaphs in Boothill Grave-
yard; walk the streets of Tombstone and note
the placards marking the spots where the
various gun fights took place; visit Bird Cage
Theater, Rose Tree Inn, the old Episcopal
Church. The big silver mines and the 24 hour
a day mining camp excitement have long
since gone, but Tombstone, too tough to die,
is alive with memories of the Frontier West
and should be included in every tourist's
itinerary.
