Tulsa's Municipal Airport has been self-
sustaining since its inception in 1928 and now
has eight large hangars capable of housing
250 airplanes of all sizes. There are more
miles of concrete runways on this airport than
on any other airport in the United States.
All profit from airport operation has been
returned to the aviation industry in the form
of better improvements. This has resulted in
Tulsa having one of the most modern airports
in America and, at present, has the highest
government rating obtainable.
