THE CENOTAPH
The Cenotaph, on Alamo Plaza, is just
outside the walls of the famous Texas shrine.
The shaft rises sixty feet from the base and
rests on the site where the bodies of the
Alamo dead were heaped and burned by the
Mexican General Santa Anna.
