GIANT GEYSER.
This is the monarch of all geysers, and is
situated near Firehole River, about a mile from
the hotel. Its cone is about ten feet in height
and seventy-five feet in diameter, broken on the
west side from the base to the apex, affording
a view of turbulence within.
