FISHING CONE, YELLOWSTONE
LAKE.
Yellowstone Lake is the largest in the
Park, having a shore line of nearly 100
miles and an area of about 140 square
miles, with a depth from 10 to 300 feet.
Fish Pot, part of the famous Paint Pots,
is located a few feet out of the lake
with a cone standing about two feet out
of the water. A fish caught in the lake,
and while still on the line, may be
dropped into the spring and cooked in
a few minutes.
