Some of the most interesting points of
interest to be found in the park are the
pools, which are placid ponds that seem
to have little or no flow of water. Some
of these have the most beautiful trans-
parent colors. The water itself is
coloriess, perfcetly clear, yet the. de-
posits around them and beneath the
surfaces are in vari-colored hues of the
most beautiful tints. Goggles Pool,
near Old Faithful, derives its name from
its close resemblance to a pair of
goggles.
