Remove the juice from four large lemons with a glass
lemon scraper. Strain it and add one teaspoon of Foss'
Pure Extract of Lemon, and sufficient fine granulated
sugar to make it the consistency of batter. Pack the freezer
with ice and salt. Pour one quart of milk into the can add
the lemon batter, cover and freeze. Turn slowly but steadily
until frozen.
