VAULTING A STREAM
No. 7
When in the course of a day's march, the Scouts encounter a
stream too wide to attempt with safety and where no stepping stones
are found, they are quick to bring into use the handy Scout Pole.
Here we see them vaulting over a stream, which is more certain than
jumping and quicker than taking off shoes and stockings for fording.
