FLAG SALUTE
No. 11
Each morning Scouts should salute the flag when it is thrown to
the breeze. The pledge is given with the right hand extended point-
ing to the Stars and Stripes palm upward-repeating the words "I
pledge allegiance to my flag and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
At sunset the bugle blows Retreat, colors are hauled down with-
out touching the ground and carefully folded for the next day, while
the members of the camp stand at attention and give the military salute.
